Chris Cieslak

Chris Cieslak is a Chartered Mechanical and Composites Materials Engineer with over a decade of experience designing wind turbine blades. A former blade designer turned innovator, he is the Founder of BladeBUG Limited, a company developing advanced robotic platforms for the inspection and maintenance of wind turbine blades. 

Chris brings a multi-disciplinary approach to solving one of the sector’s biggest challenges: the safe, detailed inspection and upkeep of the latest generation of larger, more powerful turbines. His work focuses on replacing the limitations of traditional rope access methods with cutting-edge, scalable technology driving forward the future of wind energy maintenance.
