A Chartered Engineer with over 18 years of experience, specialising in wind turbine blade design and manufacturing. Chris has a strong track record of leadership in the wind energy sector, including a previous role as Lead Project Engineer at SSE Renewables, where he managed the design and delivery of engineering activities for onshore wind projects. His experience spans across technical roles at Vestas Wind Systems, where he led initiatives to improve blade performance, investigated field failures, and developed tooling and lightning protection systems for turbine blades. Currently, as the Blades Service Manager at Renewable Energy Systems (RES), he continues to drive advancements in wind turbine blade services, furthering his commitment to renewable energy technologies.
