Gary has over 35 years of experience as a Property and Machinery Breakdown Loss Control Consultant, Engineering Account Manager and Front Line Manager specializing in renewable power including Onshore Wind, Solar Technologies, Geothermal, Bio-Energy, Battery Energy Storage Technologies, Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Offshore Wind.

Gary has led the effort at PERse to address the most significant challenges facing the renewable power industry to work with our underwriters and insureds to develop reasonable and effective solutions in some of the following areas: solar farm wildfire, flood, hail and wind exposures: wind turbine lightning protection; battery energy storage systems; construction and contractors’ assessments and wind turbine certification.

Gary has created and delivered renewable energy papers/presentations and been a Technical Panel participant for topics such as Lithium Ion and Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Technologies, Vegetation Management for Solar Farms, Solar Farm Microfracture Risk, Hydrogen, Offshore Wind Farms, Natural Catastrophe Exposures to Wind and Solar Sites and Flood Risk Exposure.
