Mark Hancock

Mark has had over 40 years in wind turbine blade design, developing several new blade structural and manufacturing systems, and holding senior engineering OEM roles in Vestas, GE & LM Windpower. He’s keen to continue supporting those, where he can, working in the wind industry.  Wind has many big challenges in technology, not always helped by barriers to communication along the long value chain.  Ultimately, the mission is to see Wind reach its potential as part of the solution to climate breakdown. 

His outside interests involve a mix of  working in the community, care for our environment and thoroughly enjoying being in it outdoors - walking, cycling & sailing,
